The check engine light and the loose gas cap light keeps coming on. I have a code reader and it says it is a small evap leak. Ram issued a recall on the egr valve and sent me a letter saying the check engine light would come on. When I took it to All Star Dodge, they laughed at me and said they were two different systems and refused to do the recall. Then they told me my entire gas tank needed to be replaced because rodents had eaten the taken. They wanted to charge me $2,000 for that.
I did not approve the service and took my truck home. I looked over every inch of that gas tank and saw no bite marks of any kind. Since I no longer trust the dealership, I now clear the code because the truck doesn't work properly if there is a code. I refuse to pay 2,000 dollars for a part that isn't even bad.
If this is the type of people Dodge trusts with their name, I don't trust Dodge.
