The engine has started going into Econ mode as early as 2nd gear. It seems to be going into this mode all the time now. It sounds terrible and is affecting the shifting of the transmission. I have noticed my gas mileage getting worse also.
I bought this truck with 8200 miles on it. suspect it was brought back for the problem I'm having. It runs very rough while in econ mode,and sends vibrations through entire vehicle. I have taken it to dealer two times for this, they say from Star at Chrysler that there is no fix for this problem. I have contacted Chrysler concerning this problem. They told me they would contact me in 24 hours and that has been several days and still no word from them. I am thinking about contacting an attorney re:LEMON LAW. As of now I am stuck with a truck that I paid $39,000. for. I am trying to get the dealer to trade me out of this truck. It seems as tough they really don't want this truck back. Maybe this will help someone else looking to buy a RAM, although they say all RAM trucks have this issue. I don't call it an issue I call it a problem.
