Summary
Symptom: Exterior mirror can make squeaking noises when folding in and out. Cause: The exterior mirror can squeak when folding in and out due to the sealing geometry of the joint gap seal between the mirror base and mirror housing. This can occur particularly at temperatures above 68° F (20° C).
