Customer Concern
Customer complains of vehicle stalling and/or Check Engine Light illuminated (DME fault code ?P032200 Engine speed sender - no signal? or ?P032100 - Engine speed sensor, implausible signal? may be stored).
Technical Background
The crankshaft position sensor can have an intermittent internal electrical connection. It is from a bad batch produced at the supplier in April 2017. Vehicles built in late 2017 model year and very early 2018 model year may have one of these sensors.
