Apparently this is a big problem with faulty drive shafts on Cayenne and Toureg models. The service guy at the Porsche dealer had to have the drive shaft replaced on his own Cayenne. My Cayenne's drive shaft failed very quickly, within a few miles of driving my son to school, the car began grinding, squealing, and vibrating very violently. I am a very careful driver and the car has only 30k miles...this part should have been recalled. If anyone has info on a class-action suit let me know. Cayenne and Toureg owners get your drive shaft checked...this was a very scary experience!
