During track day, engine seized. Oil change and IMS 2 months before. Not IMS failure as engine could restart but with banging noise.
Problem is oil starvation. Went for engine replacement with used unit. 7200€ plus 2000€ of previous IMS and oil change. Car was sold after engine replacement for 13000€. Car with blown engine was quoted at 4000€.
Lost 5800€. Post-993 Porsches are over for me as I can't afford GTx and Turbo lines.
