Porsche TSB #122-Y9K4F-09
2014 Porsche 911
TSB Document:
Affected Component: WHEELS
- Summary
- Symptom: During and after race track use, loud noises can sometimes come from the wheel assembly on the rear axle - particularly on bends. Cause: Particles of dirt on the contact surfaces can cause micro-movements in the wheel assembly on the rear axle (rim/brake disc/wheel hub) and this can result in loud noises. Remedial Action: In the event of a customer complaint, clean the wheel assembly on the rear axle as described under "Work Procedure".
