Takata recall. The contact owns a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. The contact received recall notifications for NHTSA campaign numbers: 10V024000 (vehicle speed control), 12V491000 (visibility), 14V168000 (air bags), and 16V340000 (air bags); however, the parts needed for the repairs were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact called hi-way Chevrolet Buick Inc at (712) 476-5309 (located at 1427 10th St, rock valley, ia, 51247) and was informed that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

2009 Pontiac Vibe. Consumer writes in regards to potential floor mat interference with accelerator pedal and power window master switch recall notices. The consumer stated she attempted to get the recall resolved on two separate occasions, only to be informed, the parts were not available.

I cannot roll down my windows since they are on recall since November 2012. I have to show a badge when I enter my community and must take off my seat belt and get out of the car to do so. I only received one letter and was told I would receive a second. It has now been over four months.
