The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Vibe. The contact stated that the metal of the wheels was exhibiting excessive corrosion and the contact was concerned that the front wheel would possibly become fractured. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice but the dealer declined to provide an explanation of the failure and advised that he could paint over the corrosion. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,000.
