I get a recall on my car for the Air bags and when I called to ask about it they just said we have not figured out what needs fixing but they did say it was inflation device in the air bag unit just like Honda air bag issue. Well Honda and Toyota have been fixing the cars that have air bag issues but Pontiac gives me a wait and see. What? to see if metal pieces throw into our faces if and when the air bag deploys. They said not to have anyone sit in front seat of car. How do you do that when you have 5 people to drive around? Is the delay due to Pontiac going out of business? How many people have to get hurt before they will start fixing the problem? My car is made of half American and half Toyota parts so that leads me to believe my air bags are like the ones from Toyota. I almost wish my car was all Toyota because at least they admit to a problem and take care of it right away. Hopefully I or no one else will die or be seriously injured while Pontiac decides what to do with this airbag problem. Pontiac you made a great cars you just need to stand by them, even if you don't make them anymore which by the way is so sad.
