The PCM, Powertrain Control Module, is defective and now my car will not start at all. Pontiac had conflicting messages - when I talked with the overseas people on the 800# they advised me to get a loaner car til the part became available & said I would be reimbursed full amount & also that I could get the car fixed anywhere & would also be reimbursed. However, they said they could not send this in writing via email or any other way. So I had my doubts as to this being covered once I made the purchase. Also they were saying no PCMs of the new parts were yet available but the dealership was saying they were. I just don't have confidence that if I do get my car repaired that 1) I will be reimbursed & 2) that the part is now without defects. Very disappointed in the conflicting messages from Pontiac customer service & their refusal to send any type of guarantee in writing.
