Consumer states the integrated child seat top latch can be undone if tugged on. Dealer contacted. The replacement ordered had the same defect as the original. Pontiac stated the latch is for positioning and is not required to latch securely.

Retainer clip on integrated seat is very loose and can be moved by child, who able to get out of seat. Dealer / manufacturer notified, and unable to assist in this matter. Feel free to provide any further details on this matter.

While vehicle was at a stop it was rear ended by another vehicle. When child was restrained in integrated child seat, child was out of car seat because seat belt unlatched, not holding child.
