Had my fuel pump placed 6 months ago after they found a crack in the line, similar to the 2007 recall but since mine is 2008 it was not covered. Today when filling up tank with gas, fuel was leaking profusely out of the bottom. Took it to the same shop that replaced my fuel pump. Was told there was a defect in the fuel neck that Pontiac has noticed and is sending out new kits to replace the entire system. Out of pocket costs are $670 with labor included.
