Alright.. I am not getting my car and I need serious help. I am not sure if people can read this but if you are and have had this similar problem please e-mail me and tell me what you did. (nicole_marie2002@hotmail.com) I can go to a place and have a free quote done but due to some place out there, I am afraid that I am going to get over charged for something that I could have done on my own. Alright here is my problem.
My vehicle is a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird LE. It does not have the original motor in it so the exact miles on it are unknown. The engine appears to be in good shape. I right now am having a problem with the heat in my engine. It seems as if there is something stopping the heat for getting out of the engine. I have before put coolant in it and it has stopped the problem, but I could have pissed more than the amount I put in. It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't have a leak, my head gaskets are fine, the belts are good, my high-powered fan kicks on ( thank god ) and my Thermostat is good also. Not the weird things is, well it isn't very weird, but when I start to go fast it runs fine and the temperature will drop extremely fast and I mean fast. But then you slow down and the heat goes up fast and I mean fast. I am hoping that it is just in need of a drink but I have talked to people who are telling me that what is wrong is some place on the block that is not worth fixing. Which sounds like to me I am going to be paying alot of money to get this fixed. Unless there is an easier way!
