inner rim chrome is blistering and peeling off
I noticed that the chrome was peeling on the inner rim of the wheels. Called GM, they said have it checked. The dealer would not repair or replace because the car was beyond the warranty even though it only had 6k miles for a car only 8 yrs old. The GM people at the corporate office said that they could not offer any good will repair due to the age. I feel that the wheels are inferior and should not peel. GM should repair or replace them as defective. They were neither helpful nor sympathetic to my concerns. They are a business and the consumer gets screwed. I bet if it was a GM employee either at the dealerships or corporate office they would accommodate them and his whatever is wrong. Neither will I buy another GM vehicle nor recommend it to anyone. My Pontiac Solstice is a nice looking car but very poorly built. Poor workmanship, poor quality materials especially the rims/wheels. Do not buy a GM product.
