The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Solstice. While the contact was driving 55 mph with the cruise control activated, he depressed the brake pedal to disengage the cruise control. Once the cruise control was disengaged, the vehicle began to accelerate on its own. The contact was finally able to stop the vehicle. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The VIN was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 2,000.
