The contact owns a 2006 Pontiac Solstice. The contact stated that the rear passenger side brake light failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the driver side bulb housing cover melted and caused the bulb to fail. The bulb housing cover and the bulb were replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 23,000.
