The car started doing this back in March. I took it to my mechanic....towed it in after trying to jump the battery and that didn't work. He called the dealership and got the trick to bypass the security. That didn't work. Finally, after about 3 hours sitting, it started and I took it directly to the dealer. They removed the after-factory remote starter as they said that causes the security to shut down when the starter starts to go......The dealer I bought the car from, second-hand, did not tell there was a remote starter....I don't think they knew! Didn't have another problem until two days ago when the info board went crazy on me and I lost the power steering. I got the car home and it was fine yesterday. Then today, my nephew took it to town to run some errands, came out after his first stop, and it wouldn't start. He's in the parking lot now trying the 10-minute bypass trick. Hope it works!!! Crappy GM cars~!
