I bought a 2002 Pontiac Montana last year. I didn't have it a week and the intake had to be fixed. There was nothing warning about it except the smell of coolant. It took two weeks for the mechanic to fix this problem. I think GM should fix this for the owners. Canada formed together and sued GM and they replaced the intake on a recall. Why can't the United States get together and do that.
Since I got that fixed, everything and anything is going wrong with it. The present thing is the t valve on the cooling system. It melted about three weeks ago--lost no coolant, but had a lot of steaming going on. Today is March 5 and I have the same problem for the third time. I have to have it replaced again. It isn't very easy to get to and is kind of time consuming.
