The wiper blades were going and they pushed the falling snow into the compartment, packing it in. There is not enough heat in the compartment to melt all the snow, so it freeze. The wiper blades could not return down therefore stopping in the middle of the windshield obstructing the view. Possible design flaw.

During operation of vehicle in inclement weather conditions windshield wipers intermittently freeze in place from packed snow, and will not function properly. Dealership not examined vehicle. Please provide any additional information / documentation. 8ak
