The contact owns a 2001 Pontiac Montana. The fuel gauge on the instrument control panel inaccurately displays the amount of fuel present in the fuel tank. On some occasions he would hear the low fuel warning indicator while fuel was present in the fuel tank. He had not taken the vehicle to the dealership nor had he spoken with the manufacturer to-date. The current mileage was approximately 133,000. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
