This has been a puzzle. and a pain because with the messages to service the abs system and traction control I cannot access my onboard computer system. Worse than that, neither the abs nor the traction control function.

I had a mechanic check all the wire connectors at the wheel sensors, checked OK. Shows no codes at all stored in the memory and never shows a code for this. I do not have thousands to spend on it. It would not take long to add up to an unaffordable repair bill at the current $150 per hour charged by even the local mechanic. I would never take it to a dealer, they are even worse! So has anyone else had this same problem?

Update from Oct 21, 2021: Turns out the master cylinder was leaking. I noticed this when replacing head gaskets at 298000 km. There was corrosion on the brake booster under the master cylinder indicating that master cylinder had been leaking a long time.
