Occasionally, when I am driving the traction control activates and locks the wheels causing a lack of control and preventing the car from braking. This has happened a couple times in the snow causing loss of control of the vehicle. It always happens in the rain and randomly when it is dry. Not matter when it happens it is dangerous and I have almost gotten into accidents because of it.
Once I was pulling into a parking space while completely dry outside and it caused me to slide into the car parked ahead of me because the car did not brake, it just locked the wheels luckily there was no damage. This scares the hell out of me every time it happens and I hate it. Lately, I try to remember to turn the button off after starting the car to prevent this when I am driving but I don't always remember and should not have too. This is a stupid and unsafe feature. Luckily there were no other vehicles around when it happened in the snow. I want it permanently disabled. Is there a way to do this?
