Within the past 2 months, on three separate occasions, the vehicle has exhibited at total shutdown of powertrain and electrical systems. This has happend in the middle of busy intersections with on-coming traffic. The dealership and Pontiac customer service center have been contacted numerous times without resolution. I have been informed that this is a common electrical problem that is difficult to diagnose, which makes it costly to repair.
