: the contact stated that the substance in the electrocromatic rear view mirror had broken down which caused a duplicate view of the object being viewed. The image in the mirror is distorted, and is worse when driven at night. The manufacturer was contacted on 07/17/06 and determined that the vehicle needed to brought to a service dealership. The service dealer was contacted on 07/17/06 and determined that the vehicle needed to inspected by a service representative at a dealership. On 07/19/06, the vehicle was inspected by the dealership and determined that the problem could not fixed, but needed to be replaced with a new rear view mirror. Mirror was ordered on 07/21/06 and will be repaired by the owner.
