Takata recall / my car had a GM recall 15757. It involved the replacement of my engine front valve cover and front valve cover gasket. I took it to the gateway Buick GMC on 3/5/2016. After the job was finished I found out my engine plastic beauty cover was missing. I was told it didnt fit because of the new parts. It is unexceptable that my engine is left exposed and there wasnt a newly designed plastic beauty cover. I am not happy with the result. Plus, my car is now misfiring and before I took it in for service the car was running fine and not misfiring. My spark plug wires were loose and easily detached from the connection where the spark plug connects as if it was pulled carelessly. I regret taking my car in for the recall. My car should have no problems period after service.

Managed to get fire put out but many plastic parts were melted. Had car towed to repair facility and total of repairs was $1458.25. I had no knowledge of a recall until seeing in the news around the 27th. No photos were taken of damage, repair shop can verify damage.
