The contact owns a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. The contact stated that the driver seat felt very loose and rolls all the way back. The seat does not lock in any position and he believed that the bolts failed. He also believed that the seat was defective and unsafe in case a crash occurred. The vehicle will be taken to the dealer. The current mileage was 42,984 and failure mileage was 41,973. Received 12/12/07 64200. The dealer stated the metal under the seat had broken in half. Updated 12/12/07.
