Turn signals seem to work when they want to. Just bought this vehicle from a private owner and they said the problem was in the body control module, but after doing some research before buying that part it seems as though their was a recall on the hazard warning light switch that caused this problem so now I will have to haggle with the Pontiac dealership for a remedy, being as though I'am not the original owner and not sure whether the original owner already had this done. If anyone who reads this complaint has had this problem and can shed some light on this issue, feel totally free to respond to this complaint. Any help will be appreciated. THANKS, WENDELL

I've been looking online for this problem for a little while now and have read just recently that there is a recall on this and it's a $75 fix. I have been taking my car into a little shop owned by a friend of a friend for my cooling system for the past 6 months so I have not had time to take it to the dealer to inquire about this fix quite yet. Just thought I would let you all know that I read that while searching for my other problem.

Second issue with this car. Damn blinkers don't work. Gonna be trying to replace the whole system (the blinker thing behind the wheel) this upcoming payday. Hopefully that helps. If not I guess I have to take it back to the dealership for them to fix it.

My other complaint I forgot to mention about, is that they (the dealership) just put in a new battery and sent me on my way. Went up there the next day and they tried to jump it with the portable battery thingie. Didn't work and then from what sounded like a scratchy like noise (like when a dvd or cd gets stuck in a player and makes that weird annoying whirling noise thats the noise it was making) and wouldn't stop. But thats all they did when they "fixed" my car when it died on me for no reason. They just replaced the alternator before they sold it to me... Not sure. Never had a Pontiac before... Used to manuals... not automatics.

The problem is intermittent but can be a real hazard if the turn signals don't work whe you need them. The front windows won't roll down occasionally. They work sometimes and not others. The electric seat seldom works. It is supposed to raise or lower but I don't dare lower it as it is driven mostly by my daughter who is shorter and I don't know if it will go back up if I put it down. The outside electric mirrors sometime work and sometimes they don't.

Well this damn American car already had defects about a small hazard light and it gets annoying just to hit it and then it works for a bit. Thats why won't ever buy another American vehicle until they straighten up like the imports. I never had any problems with my Tacoma; no leaks like this car, and my Tacoma has over 100k. This darn car's side view mirror broke off - how cheap is this plastic.. And another thing, my brother-in-law has a 2005 Ford F-150 and I have an 05 tundra (same mileage, 33k) and his engine is already knocking. Now tell me how cheap can this nation get if they want us to buy American. Thats why people should buy something that they can depend on - BUY TOYOTA!!!!!

I've had this car for 6 years now & the turning signals have been messed up for all 5 of them. I went to the local Pontiac dealership & was told that I need to have the hazard switch replaced, but that it may not even solve the problem. You spend all this money & then have to make hand signals out the window so another driver doesn't hit you & you get rained on plus look like some dork on a bicycle.

This car has been a night mare. I had to replace the windshield wiper fluid container twice. The driver's side window regulator and motor. The gas gage does not work properly and you never know truly how much you have left in the tank. The brake rotors have been replaced twice. It leaks water thru the moon/sun roof. The A/C does not work on the first and second setting. Sometimes the car won't turn off the electrical panel after the engine is off and the key is removed-radio and pannel lights stay on. Paid too much and now I am stuck with a lemon.. thanks Pontiac!

Not only do my signals not work all the time, my driver side window, and my back passenger window will not roll down. I have also had to replace my intake manifold because of that damn dexcool antifreeze. I am really beginning to hate this piece of sh*t car.

I have to flash my hazards several times when my blinkers aren't working, so that my blinkers will start working. It's the only way that I've found that actually gets them to start going. I think it's dangerous, sometimes I don't have a chance to to hit my hazard button a bunch of times. Sometimes when I do it doesn't even work.
