While driving consumer applied the brakes and pedal went to the floor. Consumer heard a loud squeaking noise coming from the driver's side tire. Consumer was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced.

Front brake roters and pads had to be replaced last week for over $400 at a GM dealer. The vehicle is less than 3 years old and this is the 2nd time these had to be replaced. The dealer says this happens to all of the Pontiac Grand Am
