Okay, so I have been having this "security" issue with my car, where it turns over and wants to start, but it won't because of some default in the anti-theft security system. I found the other posts about the 10 minute fix turning it to "ON" and then trying to start it. I tried that 3 TIMES and it did not work. Then, I tried turning it BACK to the accessory position for 10 minutes and VIOLA! It worked! Now the damn thing is running, but it revs up all on it's own when it's in park. Revs up and down, up and down, up and down, like a heartbeat. Anyway, I just got home from the grocery store and it was revving in park, so I waited a minute to see if it would stop, but it didn't, so I just turned the car off. When I got out it smelled like gas. What the hell is up with that? This car is a death trap, I feel like I am going to die in a fiery death in this POS.
Anyway, I wanted to let others know to try accessory if ON isn't working, and also ask, why is my car revving on it's own in park?
