I was driving to work one day and this car just started to jerk while trying to pass a slow moving vehicle I didn't even have the gas pressed half way in so I took it to my trusted mechanic aand he told me to take it to the transmission shop because it had a leak from the axle I asked if the fluid was low he said he thought so but there is no dipstick to check the fluid and I said to put one in and he says none of these cars have a dipstick (are you serious) so there is no way to tell. So i take it to the tranny shop and they say It will be $200.00 to take it apart to see what the problem was and it would eventually cost 1500.00 to rebuild so I took it home to save the money for the repair and on my way to the shop for the repair the car just died and the oil presure light came on I had it towed to the shop. it had plenty of oil but the cam broke inside the motor, at least I didn't pay for trans. repair then the cam brakes, but i'm still out my car.

the Mechanic said his daughter has the same car with the same problem and he says that the cam is hollow. that along with the plastic plulley on the power steering pump I had just replaced coupled with the transmission that was obviously was designed to crap out as soon as there was a leak (because theres no way to check the fluid level) leads me to the conclusion that this is the cheapest most poorly made car I have ever owned. do yourself a favor and steer clear of this and all gm cars they all have bad motors thats why the junkyard didn't even charge me to tow it because he knows people will be calling for parts because those cars break all the time. you can't cut quality for profit and stay in business very long which is why the government had to bale this crap car company out just look at other peoples reviews of their cars. you can say it had a lot of miles but how many hondas are around with 200k+ how many toyota's? nissans? well I'll be buying one of those other cars next and from now on. If i can find one at a descent price because all the reasonably priced cars are pontiacs chevys buicks even the once mighty cadilacs are bad motors waiting to happen at to early an age I had a berretta and it had a bad head gasket and I had to have my father in law drive my newborn daughter home for the first time i said then i wouldn't buy another gm again. thats what i get for giving these cars another chance to fail me i mean engine and transmission at the same time what a piece of sh*t .worst car i've ever bought. remember it's just worth it to pay a little extra for a honda/nissan/toyota i might even try a hyundai before I'll ever buy a garbage motors car again
