Summary

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that are unable to successfully add or program a new transmitter to the vehicle. Technician will need to check for Diagnostic Trouble Code that may be set. If the technician finds Diagnostic Trouble Code B0002 set in the vehicle there is an issue with the slip ring circuit in the vehicle. Technician should repair the slip ring.
