I purchased the Vehicle July 2011 in August it went in for a recall mention then I sometimes heard a noise when turning stering wheel to left. They test drove it and heard nothing. I took it in yesterday because the noise is now a clunk and whistle like when turning to left, and they determined it was the rack and pinion. This is not a part that should be going out already it's only 2yrs old with 46,000 miles.Of course the warranty is done with, and they quoted me $700.00 for repairs. I think GM should cover it due to when it was 1st mentioned it was within the warranty..
