I have replaced the light bulbs in the freaking car twice. The second time I noticed that the wire harness looked melted where the bulb goes in. I am pretty sure that isn't suppose to happen. I am totally surprised that GM hasn't done something about it by now. Tonight I took the damn thing apart again and fiddled with the light bulb because it works when it wants and well it wasn't working drove home and lo and behold the other flipping side is jacking up.. I am beyond sick of this and I am not spending another dime on this car. Trading it off as soon as I can....

Fixed one light was the wiring harness (?) I think that's what my husband called it. No sooner that one got fixed then the right headlight went out. He changed that one and now it's out again. The wires keep shorting out. Dealership will fix it for over $250.00! No way.

The headlight on driver side works when it feels like it. I have replaced bulb and taken it to shop 3 times and, oh yeah, it feels like working then so I am told to return. Like I don't have a job and a life and I can drive right over when it goes out ....

I have learned, open the hood and let it slam closed, POP, on comes the light till I hit a pothole, lol...... Someone needs to do a electrical recall on this car and pay for the fix. I only have 50,000 miles. I should NOT have to pay for issues already....... Fix it, you made the piece of junk... Which I saved and paid cash for so not like I can just get my money back.....

Already had to pay out of pocket to fix the Right headlamp, now 6 months later have the same problem in left! Not only that, purchased another Pontiac G6 Within the last year and had to recently fix the same problem in that one!

replacement of headlamps/faulty wiring

Even though $331 was paid & the problem was fixed, I have since then bought another car (same make & model, less mileage) and have recently had to pay another $311 to fix the SAME problem in the newer car! Not only is the problem twice bad enough, but now I have to pay once again to fix the opposite headlamp in this vehicle!!! The dealership in which both vehicles were purchased from even informed me that the problem was due to faulty wiring! I am not happy about this problem or the money that it has cost me to fix it. Even more offended that I have contacted the Pontiac/GM customer care department (care my ass!) and they denied reimbursement for both times that I have already paid and denied assistance with fixing the same current problem!!

Already fixed this problem on another car that I own (which is same year, make, model) and I am currently having this problem yet again! SICK & TIRED of paying out of pocket for what seems to be a COMPANY problem that needs to be FIXED!!!!
