i will never buy another GM vehicle as long as I live. I hate this 2009 Pontiac. No wonder they don't make them anymore. The worst car I have ever owned. GM knows there is a problem with the transmissions and the stalling and the loss of power, they just won't admit because they are cowards in suits and ties. Bye bye GM

Update from Nov 26, 2016: the power door locks don't work, the headlights don't work, the transmission doesn't work, the idler pulley doesn't work, and the engine runs like a lawnmower. They are lucky my family hasn't been hurt in this bad excuse for a car. I will never buy another GM vehicle.

I bought this 09 pontiac g6 used on july 28th 2010 and two weeks after I bought it I was taking my daughter to school and it just cut off at the stop sign and would not crank back up. I was so embarrassed. I finally got home by a stranger after being stranded for an hour. I called the place i bought the car and they towed it to the dealership and they could not get it to crank back up and they kept it for 9 days trying to get it to crank. I was without a car for 9 days. anyway they got it to crank after spraying carb spray in the fuel injection and then they locked the keys up while the car was running cause the doors would lock and unlock on their own like a ghost was in the car. so i got it back and about a week and a half later it cut off again. this time i got it to crank back up after trying for 45 min to crank it; took it back to the dealer i bought it from. they drove it to the Pontiac dealership and again they cant figure out whats wrong. they say its a good car lol. So again i go pick it up and ask the dealer if he could take it back or give me another car cause i didn't want it cause it's not safe and I have a small baby. they say no they can't cause it don't belong to them, it belongs to the bank. so i go home call the bank they say call the dealer and we go back and forth. i ask the bank to take it back they wont so i am stuck with a lemon. so again about 2 weeks later it stops on me again I call the used dealer and now they want fix it so I gave them a piece of my mind. I get the car crank after trying 45min to an hour. Guess what about 2 weeks later it cuts off again in traffic. I wait about 30 min get it crank then about a week later i am driving on a curved road and it jerks real hard then cuts off. I wait about 45 mins cranks up drive home the next morn i get to the stop sign by my house it jerks about 3 to 4 times and cuts off. i crank it back up and take it to the shop I have a complete full system clean and a cam senor put on it cost about 320 paid it and said this should work. 2 weeks later it cuts off again take it back they still don't know why it cuts off. So 2 and a half weeks later it cuts off at a 4 way stop sign and again wont crank back up so know I got traffic back up for 2 miles and then 2 guys who were strangers help push me out of the street mind u I dont know the guys. its night time and i have my 13 month old and my daughter in the car.. I call a mechanic out while I am stranded he couldn't get it to crank up so i waited about an hour and a half finally get it to crank drive it home take it to the dealership my self and tell them what its doing it had two codes but when they check the car over they didn't find nothing wrong so I called GM and file a complaint with them and told them the same thing I am telling you. Today is 11/21/2010 and it tried its best to cut off on me to nite when I got off the interstate at the light but I gave it a little gas trying to keep it crank and that g6 fought back the motor was shaking tryiing it best to cut off it was a bad and it runs bad. every-time i let off the gas it would shake to cut of and I had my 14 month son in the car its night time, I made it home and I will be calling GM first thing in the morning.I will say I hate this car and its the worst choice i ever made in my life. Its a headache it's stressful and it dangerous. I can truly say I have a 09 G6 from He** And I can't get rid of it cause I just bought it and the bank want let me trade it in cause they want make no money off me. I tried to talk to a lemon law lawyer they want help me cause it not a new car and the lemon law only applies to new cars off the lot. Well it is a lemon and I want let up
