steering problem
Like a lot of other people, the car jerks wildly to the left when accelerating. The amount that it moves to the left is very alarming and scary. This problem should be addressed by a recall from GM if they cared about safety.

Went to dealership first time. I explained faulty steering, shaky wheel, segmented steering... One hour wait. They sent me away after "the computer didn't show a fault code" and mechanic couldn't replicate problem. I went back second time after computer registered a fault code. Now they're ordering power steering pump.
Why do I have to wait for a computer to say there's a problem, when the intermittent steering problem is so bad sometimes, I can't keep the car in a straight line!!! And Pontiac ALREADY knows they have a problem with power steering. They talked to me as if they had NO IDEA what the problem could be. They use this "computer fault code" thing to get off the hook of fixing anything and they contentedly let us go along driving unsafe automobiles!!!!!
