The contact owns a 2008 Pontiac G6. The contact was backing out of a parking space. Unexpectedly, there was a forceful increase of acceleration. The vehicle failed to slow down and crashed into the driver side door of an opposing vehicle. The police and ambulance were called to the scene. There were no personal injuries. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle is in the process of being repaired for the body damages at an estimated cost of $2,000. The failure mileage was 46,000. Updated 4/28/10 the consumer stated the accelerator pedal became stuck. Updatd 06/25/10.
