Electrical issue with my pontiac g6 I have had to replace my headlights bulbs multiple times due to the plugs melting I have actively seen the plug smoking and it has happened on both of my drl/low beam headlight bulbs resulting in plugs having to be replaced multiple times as well. My engine light isn't working and yet I have engine codes my service air bag light comes on at random my buckle seat belt light won't go off it stays on when I'm buckled in the driver's seat. My pressure sensor on my fuel tank has low voltage issues. When shutting the car off and opening the driver door all accessories that should of shut off are still active including the radio. The oil light is always turning on but the vehicle isn't low on oil nor does the message appear. When plugging in a car scanner the anti theft system light turns on and at random times will shut the car off. When the car scanner gets plugged in the rpms drop for a second and then go up as well. At times only one of my headlights work and I have to smack the headlight that isn't working to get it working.

The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac G6. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag, stability trac, traction control, and brake warning lights were illuminated. Additionally, the contact had to forcefully depress the brake pedal to shift the vehicle out of park(P). The cruise control also intermittently failed to activate and deactivate. I'm on a busy city street and I went to put my vehicle from reverse into drive and I noticed that it wasn't going into gear and when I would accelerate on the gas to make my vehicle go it would just rev up like it wasn't a year and then I would you know take it back to reverse and then back to drive and it would still not go into gear finally after about two or three tries of this it finally got to go into drive and I made it to home the next morning when I went to leave I tried to crank my vehicle and it would not start so a friend of mine pop the hood and he noticed that the thing that puts my car into gear was not attached anymore and that is why my vehicle would not start and I had the problem that I had the night prior. Next problem I have is my airbag symbol pops up off and on while I'm driving and we'll stay on for a while and then go off and then it'll come back on about a week later and then it'll go off again and this happens when I'm driving on the highway down the street just randomly. Next is my power steering power steering when I start the vehicle and put my car into gear and attempt to turn my wheel to reverse or you know to get out of a parking position my power steering will be really hard really tight I try to turn it and I can't turn it very far because of the pressure behind it I will put my car back into gear turn off the car and turn my steering wheel as much as I can to the left as far as it'll go and then to the right as far as it'll go and then finally it will loosen up so where I can turn my vehicle.

My service air bag light is on. My passenger air bag doesn't work. My traction control, ESC, and ABS light come on. My panoramic sunroof wont close. All of these are on the recall list but apparently every car other than mine is bad. When I drive the ESC light will come on and pull me to the next lane. My passenger airbag is a safety concern for my passengers. I was on the freeway and my car went into the other lane and I almost hit a semi with my kids in the car. The car makes a loud whistle noise while driving, the car jerks to the left. The car makes loud noises in the front end like the car is gonna fall apart. Replaced the front end $1000 worth of work and still making the noise. Ate my brand new tires up. I have 61954 miles on my 2007 Pontiac G6 March 30 2007 brand new. There was a recall #06143 the air bag service system /FMVSS 208.my VIN # was not notified. The summary of this recall is identical as to what is now happening car. If I have a passenger in my front side seat when they get out of the car. I get an alarm. I do not normally have a passenger and drive back and forth to work 4 miles 4 days a week. I feel this should be recalled since 359 complaints were submitted in back in 2007 and recalled, I never received a notification about it. Please extend this recall. I very seldom have a passenger in the front right seat. Recently when someone gets out get of the car I am now getting an alarm. If play with the seat belt it stops. This is a real safety hazard. I always service my car when it needs it. I took it to lannan chevelot woburn MA 01890 this week. They diagnosed and found passenger presence module has a intermittent internal failure. This is the same problem as recall # 06143. Please review my claim, and contact me if you have any questions.

Miles 99,543 when I came back out the store I turn my car on to experience my steering wheel was harder to turn then usual. I turn my car off and on and the problem was still there. I went to advance auto to get a bottle of fluid and find out my steering wheel is electric and the recall that was on it expired a few years ago ! my concern is what if I spend my money to get it fix and the problem occur again. Anothee issue is that my service air bag pops up across the radio sometimes

Air bag on panel stays lit all the time, when starting up the engine. Passenger side for about one second comes on then go off. Still lit on panel. It has happened before but mechanic said the airbag light on panel should go off it did for awhile, now it's back on again.

The last year my passenger airbag light and seatbelt like goes on and off when no one is sitting in that seat. My power steering light is going off now and power steering has gone out multiple times. At high speeds I feel loss of steering control and wobbly. At stand still and stop signs my steering wheel shakes. I do not feel safe at all driving due to a feeling of no control of the car.

Airbag is not on will not turn on. The electronic motor like all the other recalls GM should be taking care of is going out and locking up steering. I would advise anyone to get an attorney and file against GM for not taking care of a dangerous problem

The airbag sensor on the passenger side doesn't work it comes on when we are sitting in the seat with the seatbelt fasten we have taken the car to the Chevrolet dealer and they said that we would have to fix it ourselves we don't have the money to do this. If we are in an accident and the air bag doesn't deploy then someone is going to get hurt bad and then there is going to be a lawsuit I hope that you can get a recall on this so I can get it fixed

Transmission, when shifting into park it will sometimes not go into park and the car will roll backwards or clanking noise happens. Whith entine running: At approximately 50,000 miles the service air bag light in the radio screen illuminated intermitently. It continued to do so for some time. At about 60,000 miles, it illuminates almost all the time. Noticed that on some hot days over 105 degrees, the light goes off. Currently, on constantly. Phoned dealers and estimates exceed $800 without inspection. Outrageous. Vehicle in excellent condition.

February 2017 I was driving and my steering wheel locked up on me. I turned the ignition off & then turned the car back on & it never happened again until 11/13/17. I was driving & my steering wheel locked up. I almost caused an accident. I called greenwood Chevrolet hubbard to inquire about any recalls & I was told there were no recalls at this time & the recalls that were issued I was serviced for. 11/13/17 was not the first time that I called to inquire about recalls for my car. I call often when I see other GM cars have recalls. I called GM to inquire about a recall & I was given the same information that greenwood gave. I took my car to Firestone complete auto care on 11/15/17 & they made me aware of recall # 15356. They found the recall information when they ran the diagnostic test. They suggested that I take my car to the dealership & let the recall fix the issue. When I call the dealership and GM I was told that the recall expired on March 12, 2017. I never received and type of correspondence about the recall. What if I get in a car accident and harm someone else or myself. I feel that GM should have to pay to fix a faulty part that they installed into their product. I also keep getting a check air bag signal on my car every so often. I'm almost scared to drive my car. I also called the dealership that I purchased the car from and they stated that I would've had to call if I was having the problem then they would've honored the recall. I asked the dealership how can I call about a problem if it's not happening at the present time and why wasn't I notified about the recall. The dealership is diane sauer Chevrolet phone: [xxx].
