The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac G6. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the brake lights failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the brake lamp switch was replaced. There was currently an open investigation under NHTSA action number RQ13001 (exterior lighting) for the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 93,000. Updated 4/24/13 the consumer stated the cruise control, battery, and remote start all had failures. All were repaired except the remote start. Updated 06/03/2013
