saw lots of complaints online for this same issue on the G5 and Cobalt, called GM and they said they had never heard of a problem. Radio was shorting out over a year ago, then the indicator light noise quit, last straw was us leaving lights on and coming out to find dead battery. Again no sound from any alerts.

my chimes stopped working for my turn signals and the display of information. My seat belt chimes no longer work nor do the air bag chimes work. I just think its ridiculous. I didn't buy a new car for this to happen. Its like every time I turn around something else is wrong with the car. I hate not having my turn signal chimes because I forget to turn it off because I don't have the warning that they are still on.
