My Pontiac G5 2007 took several times to turn over and start. We've noticed a strong gas smell and upon looking under the car we are having a gas leak. The gas isn't dripping down however more like a condensation all over the outside of the gas tank. I noticed they have had a recall on this before (NHTSA campaign id number: 09V419000) and (GM recall no. 090226), however GM is not considering this as a recall. This is not acceptable because it states if this issue isn't correct it could cause a fire! I for one do not feel safe driving this car let alone my wife (especially being her car). The issue stated in the recall is (fuel system, gasoline:delivery:fuel pump) so I'm not understanding why I haven't been notified for this issue especially when the recall deals with my car.
