Our 05 G6 has a rattling in the steering column that is on going. When driven over rough roads, the steering column emits a rattle. Had it into the dealer multiple times. Had the intermittent steering column replaced 3 times, and the problem keeps returning. It is in the dealer again. This is not the same problem as having the power steering go out. We have experienced that too. Got it fixed and has not reoccurred. They rattle is driving us crazy. Now there is an intermittent vibration when you accelerate from a stop. Having Pontiac Customer Service look into the problem. 1-800-620-7668. Call them if you have this problem. Maybe they will issue a recall.
