This is a design defect, the parts are unavailable nowhere but at the dealer. This was fixed once under warranty at 60,000 km and right on cue it happens again.

It is impossible to get after market parts or manuals to fix. The diagnostic messages displayed by the vehicle are misleading. It tells you engine and transmission are at fault flashing a transmission on hold message (totally erroneous).

Some vehicles used to have 4 separate ignition coils on top and now all coils are built into one pack so you have to replace the whole darned thing. Way to go GM. Got to keep those lovely executive golden parachutes funded, glad to help the starving VPs make a soft landing.
