I did find a solution for the erratic fuel gauges on youtube.... however at this time i do not have the complete url.... I will say it pisses ya off when these dealerships look to rip car owners off... and their so called expert mechanics must follow suit. People want all the bells and whistles in their vehicles....Auto manufacturers are more than ready to comply.. yes there will be more of an initial expense for the car.... however the price to maintain the aging vehicles is...... SICK!!......I found out you can purchase.. from the dealership a part that cost $40 to repair the gas fuel gauge... Why cant the manufacturer.. the dealership... the soooo-called expert mechanics tell you... HEY>>> $40.. plus.. $90 labor... total $130 can fix this... which is reasonable.... NOOOOOO... THEY SAY.. YOU NEED THE ENTIRE FUEL SENDING UNIT...!!.. Which will cost you just.... $600... ITS BULLSHIT!!.. I have taken my car to dealerships and repair garages.. some excellent.. some bad.. however.. I prefer to do most repairs myself on all 4 of our family cars..... and if I screw it up i know exactly what transpired.. Buying repair manuals for your car and searching sites as this are valuable tools... Good luck to all you,.. and keep posting.. another valuable tool...

The gas gauge doesn't work at all. It will show empty when I've just filled it. The system will indicate that I need to put gas in after I've filled it and driven 10 miles! I have to rely on my trip gauge as to know how many miles I've driven and then estimate my mpg. and when to put gas in . It's a real pain!!
