Composite intake manifolds on Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet with 3.8 L engines are failing and dumping coolant into engine causing repairs to cost from $400 to engine replacement. GM is aware of this problem ( see GM service bulletin 01-06-01-007)
