Problems with brakes on 1999 Pontiac Bonneville. The vehicle shimmied when going on downgrades and when using the brakes. New brakes were just installed at around 30K miles and the shoes were worn almost to the metal. The shoes were wearing uneven but the dealer told the consumer that they would be fine. The vehicle seemed a little better, but the vehicle still shook and could have thrown the consumer off of the highway, but the consumer held on to the steering wheel. The new rotors were placed on the vehicle and was thought to be the fault, but the problem recurred while the vehicle was being driven in the mountains.
