Upper and lower intake manifold warped due to unknow cause, oil and coolant leaked ruining the crank sensor and ignition module, could have caused head to blow. Repair cost @1600.00.

Intake manifold snapped, causing the vehicle not to have any acceleration. Cause unknown. Dealer notified. The consumer states that while driving the vehicle in the parking lot, it started to hesitate w/loss of acceleration. The upper intake manifold went out and caused the anti-freeze to mix w/oil, may have damaged the engine, however the mechanic believes it may be fine. Back in 1995 the consumer said that there was another vehicle (same make/model) in the shop with upper intake manifold problems that ruined the engine.
