When the car is driven cold, the engine hesitates during initial acceleration (from a complete stop) when gas is applied with normal force. If gas continues to be applied, the car chugs (starts and hesitates intermittently). Note, when this happens, RPM's do not exceed 2000. If you let off on the gas and apply gently, little hesitation occurs. After driving briefly (1/4 mile), no (or little) hesitation occurs when accelerating from a stop. This problem has worsened over time. Help!!! I've been told that this problem may be due to an incorrect fuel mix, monitored by my car's computer - which means there is a problem with the computer... how do I find an expert mechanic in this specific area of the car?
