accessories - interior problem
Recently, my ignition will not release my key. It will release it sometimes without problem, then ,like today, i will spend anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours trying to get it to release from the ignition. There seems to be no pattern to when it does it, but it sure seems to do it when it wants to be a pain. anyone have any clue what may cause this....the ignition, cpu, electrical?

I put my car in park yesterday and went to turn the car off and the key wouldn't turn completely back and it is stuck in it. It has run down my battery. I've been told that it could cost up to $200 to have this fixed. I have nothing but trouble with this car.

This problem occurs without reason or cause that I can determine. I have paid $200 to replace the ignition switch and I still have the problem. When it happens sometimes it continues to keep the electric system on and other times it will not. When it does keep the system on, the potential to drain my battery exists and on two previous occasions I have had to had someone give me a jump to start the car. Usually when this occurs, I can leave the car alone for an hour or two and then I can simply twist and remove the key as normal.
