Okay, so you know how when you push the sunroof button once, it pops up, then you push it again and it goes all the way back? Well mine was going halfway and stopping. I took it to the dealership and they said it was just dirt in the tracks, cleaned it and greased it, cost me like 50-60 bucks or so in labor. WELL, guess what, a couple weeks later it did it again. I took it in and it did it when they pushed the button, but then after he closed it and pushed it again, it worked. And it worked every time the technician pushed it after that. They said it could be one of three control modules, but they can't replace all three or warranty would not agree to cover it, especially without being able to duplicate the problem. So they sent me home and said if it does it again, leave it stuck, bring it in and we'll be able to tell what module it is by where it stops. SO after a winter of not using it, it was nice this weekend, I popped it, it stuck, and I drove to the dealership this morning IN THE RAIN with my sunroof half open. I explained all of this to the guy at the service counter. He obviously did not pass on the "DON'T TOUCH THE BUTTON" part to the service tech, because what did he do? He closed it. Then he opened it. And it worked. And yet again, they could not duplicate the problem. So when I talked to the service rep, so angry I was shaking, all they could tell me was exactly what they told me last time.. if it does it again leave it stuck and bring it in. So it still isn't fixed. How many times do I have to do this before I can force them to replace all three control modules at their own cost?
